The spa experience exceeded expectations, featuring an impressive hydro pool and various sauna options amidst beautiful autumn scenery. Staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay, especially during meals, enhancing the overall enjoyment. loud guests disrupted the peace at night, and the storage in the room was limited, which could be inconvenient for longer stays.

Comfy room, modern ensuite, with a good-sized bed and pillows, I especially loved the attentive waiting staff at breakfast and enjoyed the excellent vegetarian evening meal. the convenience of being just a 15-minute walk to the local train station added to my experience.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the spacious pool area and tried our luck at Manchester Golf Course right opposite the hotel. The reception staff made our check-in smooth and speedy, and the bed was so comfy that my teenagers couldn’t believe their luck. Housekeeping even honored our special requests!
My kids wished for a larger child-friendly swimming area. the current setup felt a bit cramped during peak times.

Awesome spa vibes
Spent an amazing afternoon relaxing at the spa with my boyfriend and niece. The jacuzzi was perfect, with that cold air mixing with warm bubbles—seriously heaven! The staff were super friendly and professional, and everything was clean. The only thing was the dining options could be a bit more varied. Definitely planning to come back!

Great spa facilities but parking issues need addressing
I recently enjoyed my stay, which featured fantastic spa amenities with a soothing jacuzzi and multiple sauna options that created a lovely atmosphere for relaxation. The breakfast spread was satisfying, offering a range of tasty choices to start the day. I found the parking monitoring system quite concerning, as it is crucial to be adequately informed to avoid unnecessary fines.

Had a nice stay at the Mercure in Rochdale for a conference. The room felt cozy with a well-equipped bathroom. Appreciated the fluffy towels. Enjoyed swimming in the pool, but no spin dryer available for my wet swimsuit. The restaurant served delicious food, though the prices, like £26 for rib eye steak, felt steep. Breakfast had plenty of options but watch out for the little steps. The staff were friendly overall, but some seemed disorganized, affecting the check-in process. The lack of a bathrobe in my room was disappointing since others had one.
